I’ve been creating portraits since I was a teenager. Attending Thomas Telford School and choosing GCSE art significantly enhanced my passion for the subject. This decision truly solidified my commitment to pursuing art. I learnt new techniques and my creativity enhanced as did my proficiency. After completing my GCSE and A levels here, I went on to study Fine Art at the University of Staffordshire, where my practice expanded.

I’ve always been intrigued by drawing faces and capturing everyone’s uniqueness. I love producing portraits that replicate a spot-on likeness to the individual, and it fills me with joy when customers tell me I have achieved this.

I discovered my love for pencil drawing due to its versatility. It allows for a range of techniques, from light to dark shading, with intricate and delicate lines alongside bold areas. Pencil drawings are constantly changing, and how we produce them is again, down to uniqueness.
